Dear Colleagues:

The Ottawa Valley Chapter of the Air and Waste Management Association (A&WMA) would like to announce our next breakfast seminar to take place at the Metropolitain Brasserie on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 7:30 a.m. Our guest speaker will be Brian Wastle fomer VP Responsible Care with the Chemistry Industry Association of Canada, who will present "What is the Chemistry Industry Doing about that Old Bugaboo - Sustainability?. Brian will endeavour to explain why the Chemistry Industry Assocation of Canada has re-invented its long standing Responsible Care initiative and will solicit sceptical and constructive feedback in a Q&A period after his talk.  We will have a full breakfast and as usual, there will also be an opportunity to network with colleagues.  Please see the attached invitation for further details.  The Metropolitain Brasserie is located at Sussex and Rideau.

Advanced registration is $25 for A&WMA members and $30 for non-members.  Students pay $10 if they are members or $15 if they are non-members.  We encourage online registration before February 22nd, 2011, as it helps us to arrange the venue and anticipate the number of attendees.  Alternatively, you can RSVP for the event with Dr. Smita Bhatia at sbhatia@ccpa.ca.  Payment at the door can be by VISA, Master Card, cash or cheque.

We look forward to seeing you on February 24th at the Metropolitain Brasserie.
