Breakfast Seminar: Climate Change - An International Perspective, March 7th, 7:45 a.m

The Ottawa Valley Chapter of the Air and Waste Management Association (A&WMA) held a breakfast seminar on Wednesday, March 7th, 2012 at 7:45 a.m at the Metropolitain Brasserie . Our guest speaker was Laurence Blanford director of the Partnerships Division, Climate Change International, Environment Canada who presented "Climate Change - An International Perspective". Laurence is responsible for multilateral climate change engagement and overseeing Canada’s international climate change assistance and provided an overview of how Canada remains an active and constructive player in the international climate change negotiations and continues to work with its international partners to achieve a fair, effective and comprehensive global climate change regime. The presentation also discussed the current state of play in international climate change cooperation and Canada’s international engagement in the area.
